BJP attacks Rahul Gandhi

Attacking Wayanad MP and Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi, BJP public representative Shehzad Poonawalla said, “Rahul ji, regardless of the amount you attempt… history and truth emerges.”

Poonawalla called Savarkar ‘most prominent of the extraordinary’ and hence, pictures of Go Savarkar had been set in Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Congress faults BJP for banners

Savarkar’s banner alongside other political dissidents was spotted by Kerala’s autonomous MLA PV Anwar, upheld by the LDF.

“At the point when brought up that VD Savarkar’s photograph was on the Bharat Jodo Yatra’s banner in Aluva, the Muslim Association’s account was that the banner is from Karnataka, where the BJP had introduced the banner during the Freedom Day festivities. Yet, the banner is from Kerala, not from Karnataka. The Congress has corrected its slip-up by covering Savarkar’s picture with that of Mahatma Gandhi’s,” Anwar said.

Congress contrasts Savarkar and Jinnah

The column over Savarkar’s photos and banner is the same old thing in southern India. August this year saw extreme fights in Karnataka and senior Congress pioneer from the state BK Hariprasad put himself in contention by calling the organizer behind Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Go Savarkar were “same”.
