Puducherry To Reopen Schools For Classes 9-12 From September 1

The Puducherry Government today, on August 27, said that schools will return for the understudies of Class 9 to Class 12 from September 1. The heads of schools of Puducherry, Karaikal and Yanam districts have been coordinated to do the preliminary attempts to continue classes in disconnected mode before September 1.

“It has been chosen to return schools for the understudies from classes IX-XII for the scholastic year 2021-2022 from 01.09.2021 in Puducherry, Karaikal and Yanam districts,” PT Rudra Goud, Director of School Education, Puducherry Government, said in a round gave today.

He further added: “The Heads of all schools in Puducherry, Karaikal and Yanam districts are told to cling to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) gave.”

Prior, Puducherry Government had chosen to resume schools for Classes 9 to 12 from July however it was deferred and presently the public authority has at long last declared to initiate actual classes from September 1.

Schools will be needed to follow all Covid conventions stringently like wearing of veils, utilizing hand sanitisers and keeping up with social separating is required and ought to be followed inside the premises.
