Telugu Supastor Mahesh Babu’s father is in hospital

Famous actor Krishna Ghattamaneni, father of Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu, has been admitted to the hospital due to illness.

Doctors said that the actor’s ‘condition is stable’ under treatment at the Continental Hospital in Hyderabad. But nothing is known about his illness. 

“His fans and well-wishers have nothing to worry, his condition is stable,” Krishna’s public relations officer Suresh Kondi said in a Twitter post.

However, according to the report of Indian entertainment magazine Pink Villa, this veteran actor is suffering from respiratory disease and heart disease.

 These family members are going through difficult times. Recently Mahesh Babu lost his mother Indira Devi. Earlier his brother Ramesh Babu also passed away.

Krishna Ghattamaneni was famous for using/introducing many modern technologies in films. He started his career as an actor with the movie ‘Tene Mansulu’ directed by Adurti Subba Rao. His famous movies in Telugu are ‘Aluri Seetha Rama Raju’, and ‘Sinhasanam’ etc.

He also served as a Member of Parliament for the political party Congress. He introduced new technologies like ‘Eastman Color Film’, ‘Cinemascope Film’, ’70mm Film’, ‘DTS Film’ etc. in Telugu cinema. In 2009, he was honored with the ‘Padma Bhushan’ award by the Government of India.
