Parag Agrawal, the Chief Technology Officer of Twitter, is currently taking over from Jack Dorsey as the Chief Executive Officer. Dorsey will venture down from his job, and the organization’s board has been getting ready for his takeoff since last year, as indicated by news office Reuters.
Agrawal, a former student of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, was named Twitter CTO on March 8, 2018. He succeeded Adam Messinger, who left the organization in December 2016. Agrawal’s arrangement was declared inside in October 2017.

Agrawal joined Twitter in October 2011 as a Distinguished Software Engineer in the wake of finishing his PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University. While learning at Stanford, he functioned as an examination assistant for Microsoft, Yahoo!, and AT&T Labs.

Taking to Twitter, Agrawal expressed gratitude toward Dorsey for his proceeded with mentorship and fellowship. Further, he said thanks to the whole group for their trust and backing.
“Our motivation has never been more significant. Our kin and culture are not normal for anything on earth. There is no restriction to what we can do together,” Agrawal wrote in a note shared on his Twitter handle.
He added that “at the all-hands tomorrow we’ll possess loads of energy for Q&A and conversation”.
“The world is watching us at this moment, much more than they have previously. Bunches of individuals will have loads of various perspectives and conclusions about the present news. It is on the grounds that they care about Twitter and our future, and it’s a sign that the work we do here issues. We should show the world Twitter’s maximum capacity,” Agrawal said.
