The Tihar prison organization Thursday permitted double cross Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar, who is at present in the jail, to stare at the TV in a typical space of the prison ward. The Tokyo Olympics will start on Friday and Kumar had mentioned jail specialists to furnish him with a TV set, to stay state-of-the-art about “happenings in the wrestling scene”.

DG (Tihar) Sandeep Goel said, “We will permit the TV for Sushil Kumar in the normal region in the ward. He has made a solicitation through his supporter and presented his application on July 2. He has looked for a TV set to stay in contact with the current happenings outside the prison and to get refreshes about wrestling.”
This comes after a Delhi court excused a supplication by Kumar looking for exceptional food in jail, including wellbeing supplements containing protein, Omega-3 cases, jointment cases, pre-exercise C4, hyde, multivitamin GNC, and exercise groups, as he needed to proceed with his vocation in wrestling.
Kumar was moved from Mandoli prison to Tihar prison no 2 and is right now remaining in a different cell over security reasons. Extraordinary wellbeing game plans have been made and police faculty have been sent nonstop close to his military quarters.
Kumar is a blamed in the homicide for grappler Sagar Dhankar, who had contended in the 97-kg Greco-Roman class. Sushil Kumar and his partners purportedly attacked Dhankar and two of his companions — Sonu Mahal and Amit Kumar — over a property question at the Chhatrasal arena on the interceding evening of May 4 and 5.
As per police, Dhankhar and his companions were remaining in a house connected to Kumar close to the arena in the Model Town region and had been approached to clear as of late. This prompted the conflict the evening of May 4.
