Education: Jamia Millia Islamia Likely To Extend Entrance Test Dates Due To CBSE Board Exams

The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is probably going to delay entrance tests for admission to its undergrad and postgraduate projects till the second seven day stretch of June as their dates are covering with CBSE Class 12 board tests, authorities said on Thursday. Entrance tests to courses not covered under the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) were planned to begin from June 2. The tests are presently expected to start on June 11. The college is likewise expected to expand the last date for accommodation of uses from May 12 to May 25.

Recorder Nazim Hussain Jafri let PTI know that the selection tests will now from June 11. The changed timetable is probably going to be given soon. “We have chosen to broaden the dates of selection tests as twelfth class tests are in progress and they were covering with selection tests. The last date for accommodation of utilizations will likewise be stretched out structure May 12 to May 25,” Mr Jafri said.

The Term 2 assessments for Class 12 board tests are to be closed on June 13.
