A panther was killed subsequent to being hit by a quickly moving vehicle on the Delhi-Meerut Turnpike in Ghaziabad, police said on Wednesday.
The occurrence occurred on Tuesday night close to the Kalcheena town when the panther, accepted to go across the street, was hit by a vehicle. It passed on the spot, Appointee Magistrate of Police (Rustic) Ravi Kumar said.
The police arrived at the spot and informed the Sub divisional justice and the woodland office group.

The body of the creature was sent for necropsy which will be led by a board of three veterinarians and the report is normal on Thursday, the senior authority said.
“Its nails, teeth and pelt are flawless. The necropsy report would assist with laying out the wounds because of which the wild feline kicked the bucket, he added.
