India: BJP targets Congress over Salman Khurshid’s comments on Hindutva

The BJP on Thursday dispatched a searing assault on the Congress over its chief Salman Khurshid allegedly contrasting Hindutva and the jihadist Islam of psychological oppressor gatherings like ISIS and Boko Haram in his most recent book, and said the resistance is weaving a web like a bug against Hindus.

In the interim, a Delhi-based legal counselor has recorded a protest with the Delhi Police looking for enrollment of a FIR against Khurshid on the matter.

BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya in a tweet featured a passage of the book and said, “Congress’ Salman Khurshid in his new book composes that Hindutva is like the jihadist Islamist bunches like ISIS and Boko Haram. What else would we be able to anticipate from somebody whose party authored the term Saffron dread just to draw comparability with Islamic jihad, to get Muslim votes?”

The book by previous Union pastor Khurshid on the Ayodhya decision was delivered on Wednesday.
