India Farmers’ ‘Rail Roko’ protest today to demand Ajay Mishra’s dismissal over Lakhimpur Kheri violence

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body for ranchers associations leading the dissent against ranch laws since last year, has given a require a six-extended cross country ‘Rail roko’ unsettling on Monday. The fights started at 10 am to request the excusal and capture Union Minister Ajay Mishra regarding the Lakhimpur Kheri episode.

In an assertion, the SKM said “fights may be increased until equity is gotten” in the Lakhimpur Kheri case. The SKM said during the ‘rail roko’ fight, all train traffic will be halted for six hours from 10 am till 4 pm on Monday.

On October 3, a guard of three vehicles passed through a horde of fighting ranchers in Tikonia, Lakhimpur Kheri area of Uttar Pradesh. One of the vehicles had a place with Union Minister Ajay Mishra, and his child, Ashish, is asserted to have been in the driver’s seat. Four ranchers were killed in the occurrence, while four others, including the Minister’s driver, two BJP laborers and a columnist, passed on in ensuing fights.

One more SUV is possessed by previous Union clergyman Akhilesh Das’ nephew Ankit Das. The proprietor of the third vehicle is yet to be discovered.

While Ajay Mishra has kept up with his child was absent at the site of the mishap, Ashish was captured the week before. Six men — Union MoS Ajay Mishra’s child Ashish Mishra and his partners Luvkush Pandey, Ashish Pandey, Ankit Das, Shekhar Bharti and Lateef — have been captured for the situation. The BJP has mobilized behind the Union Minister, while the Opposition has targetted the public authority for the brutality against ranchers.
