India New Army aviation brigade for LAC in eastern sector

WITH THE Line of Actual Control (LAC) staying tense across all areas, India raised another flying unit in the eastern area this year. The unit is ordered with the errand of expanding observation along the LAC in the eastern area.

The new unit was brought up in March at Missamari in Assam, near Tezpur, and has capacities, for example, Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH), Cheetah helicopters and Heron drones, said sources.
