India Punjab: Grenade blast near Pathankot Army camp

Agrenade impact happened close to Triveni Gate of the Army camp in Pathankot, Punjab. Further examinations are in progress. SSP of Pathankot Surendra Lamba said: “CCTV film of the space will be tested.”

Police hurried to the spot and recuperated portions of the explosive. Following the episode, cops have been put fully on guard.

In June this year, two blasts had shaken the high-security specialized space of Air Force Station Jammu. Two work force supported minor wounds in the occurrence. “A robot with payload in both the impacts at Jammu landing strip is suspected to have dropped the touchy material,” DGP Dilbagh Singh had said, adding that the robot was being worked from a site close to the location of the assault.

The robot was utilized distinctly to drop the IEDs. When the payload was dropped, the robot got back to any place it came from.

On October 6, a robot was spotted close to the Jaitpur post in Bamiyal area of Punjabs Pathankot region. Ready Border Security Force (BSF) jawans started shooting at the robot, shooting four to five rounds before the automated aeronautical vehicle (UAV) vanished.

Back in July, a dubious inflatable was found by security staff in Pathankot, not exactly a month after the robot assault on the Indian Air Force base in Jammu.
