The Manipur government Friday suspended three of its workers for renting government quarters apportioned to them.

The episode comes almost seven days after Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh’s admonition that unlawful occupiers of government-distributed quarters in the state will be expelled and representatives who lease their dispensed quarters will confront suspension or end.
