The head of the unit urged the people of Puebla not to lower their guard or forget preventive measures such as: etiquette sneezing, use of face masks in closed and crowded places .
Only 12 of the 217 municipalities of Puebla maintain active cases of COVID-19, including outpatients and hospitalized, as stated by the Secretary of Health, José Antonio Martínez García, while noting that there are 230 people with the virus.
In a press videoconference led by Governor Miguel Barbosa Huerta, the head of the agency reported that, in the last 24 hours, there were 12 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 and no deaths from the disease.
In this sense, he urged the people of Puebla not to lower their guard or forget preventive measures such as: etiquette sneezing, use of face masks in closed and crowded places, frequent hand washing and healthy distance in order to avoid an increase in infections.
Finally, he mentioned that there are four hospitalized patients, none of whom require assisted mechanical ventilation.
