The “Flower Season of Nochebuena” began in Atlixco, one of the most representative activities of the holiday season.
In the presentation, the municipal president of Atlixco, Ariadna Ayala, was accompanied by the Secretaries of State for the Economy, Olivia Salomón; of Tourism, Martha Ornelas; and of Rural Development, Ana Laura Altamirano; accompanied by the municipal president of Atlixco Ariadna Ayala.
It is expected to market more than 3 million plants in Puebla, generating an economic benefit of 130 million pesos.
The production of this plant in the municipality of Atlixco, together with other municipalities such as Chignahupan, Hueytamalco and Chinconcuautla, place Puebla in third place nationwide in the production of this type of flower.
It should be noted that this plant is transported to other parts of the Mexican Republic such as Tijuana, Monterrey and Veracruz; it even reaches other parts of the world such as the United States, Canada and France.
