Under debate, the future of housing and urban planning in Latin America and the Caribbean: UN

The two-day event will take place at the headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean and will serve to analyze the challenges of the region in terms of housing and urban development. 

This Monday the thirty-first edition of the Assembly of Ministers and Highest Authorities of Housing and Urban Planning of Latin America and the Caribbean opens in Santiago de Chile.

The two-day event will take place at the headquarters of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean and will serve to analyze the challenges of the region in terms of housing and urban development. 

The meeting seeks to promote an exchange in order to generate a common perspective on the problems, size the challenges and jointly visualize solutions and share good practices, with a view to fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda and the New Urban Agenda for the organization.
