Indian group selectors on Sunday declared a lady call for pace sensation Umran Malik and seamer Arshdeep Singh for the 18-part T20 crew for the South Africa series. Among the players who didn’t come to the T20 crew for the South Africa series is Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star hitter, Nitish Rana, who amassed 361 runs in 14 matches in the IPL 2022. Following the declaration of the T20 crew, Rana took to Twitter to share a hopeful tweet after the reprimand.
‘Things will change soon,’ tweeted the left-given player and added an India banner.
Rana last played for India against Sri Lanka when the Shikhar Dhawan-drove side played three ODIs and as a huge number against the islanders.
In the series against South Africa, KL Rahul will commander the group and have players like Rishabh Pant and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, as well as Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya, who are making a re-visitation of the Indian group after an extensive stretch. While top names like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will miss.
