President Andrés Manuel López Obrador thanked the legislators of the Chamber of Deputies for approving the 2023 Expenditure Budget, which includes financing of around one billion pesos for Welfare Programs and strategic projects such as the Train Maya.

He announced that as of January 2023, older adults will receive 25 percent more pensions.
